My dad drew army trucks and planes. I thought I could draw too. So I did! Throughout the years reading, drawing, painting and creating have been constant in my life, along with gardening and hiking. I love to write and illustrate picture books - combining stories with art - my favorite! I grew up on a small farm in Oregon’s Willamette Valley where I had many pets including many “farm animals” that became pets. Years later my husband and I lived on that same little farm and raised our 3 kids who also had many pets.
